Meeting with Portuguese Chamber and Business Associations in Lisbon

On 15th November 2018, IUCAB President, Mr. Olivier Mazoyer and Secretary General, Mr. Christian Rebernig visited the Director of European Relations in the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIP), João Paes Cabral, to get an idea of the economic developments. The meeting was important due to the fact that commercial agents and independent sales organisations in Portugal are not organized in own associations but in sector associations. Therefore, also meetings took place with several associations, such as the textile association or the automotive association. Additionally, there was an exchange with Mr. Laurent Marionnet, General Director of the French-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce in Portugal.
It was agreed on future cooperation possibilities and participation at networking events in order to promote IUCAB as well as commercial agents profession.
