Successful exchange in Dublin

The IUCAB Secretarial Working Group (SWG) came together on 17th January in Dublin, Ireland.
The meeting was hosted by the UK/Ireland Member Association MAA.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Olivier Mazoyer, President of IUCAB, Mr. David Johnson, the Chairman of the SWG and the national secretaries Mr. Eckhard Doepfer (CDH, Germany), Mrs. Claire Machet (APAC, France), Mrs. Helena Waker (ATP, Sweden) as well as Mr. Christian Rebernig, IUCAB Secretary General and Mrs. Jessica Johanneson (ATP, Sweden).

Mr. Rebernig gave a current overview of the actions 2019/2020.
During the meeting, the secretaries discussed the ongoing evaluation of the VBER. The importance of VBER is very high in order to guarantee that the distribution channel via commercial agents is maintained.

Furthermore, an overview of the results of the social media workshop held during the Delegates Meeting last year in Valencia was presented and discussed among the participants. The results are used for the IUCAB social media strategy especially for the LinkedIn actions.

The IUCAB B2B platform is an important tool for manufacturers in order to find commercial agents worldwide. The new platform was presented to the participants. The relaunch with new features such as higher visibility for commercial agents and higher usability for manufacturers will go live in February 2020.

The next Secretarial Working Group meeting will be held during the Delegates Meeting in Stockholm, Sweden on 14th May 2020.
